The word we’ve all heard a hundred times in the last few weeks: unprecedented. And yet here we are about to use it again, because there really is no other word more suited to what’s currently happening in the world.

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is unquantifiable at present. These are challenging times, and the resulting economic climate is one of uncertainty and change. No industry is immune to the effects, and our own Microsoft Dynamics community is no exception. We’ve been sad to see some changes to our channel over the last few weeks, including the tough decision taken by K3 Consulting to file for administration.

Here to help everyone

Whilst ensuring that our staff are staying home and staying safe, it’s very much business as usual for us. As our customers adapt their day-to-day business practices, we’re quietly working away behind the scenes not only to keep their ERP solutions running, but to proactively find new and innovative ways to help them get more value from their existing investments.

We hope Ocean Dynamics can be seen as a reassuringly stable industry presence, both by our own customers, and also by other Dynamics users who may now find themselves unsupported. Going online

One positive occurrence to have come from this pandemic is the groundswell of public support for those smaller, independent businesses who have, in some cases, had to rethink their entire business model. With physical stores/ services inaccessible, many have wisely moved their business focus online so that they can keep serving their customers. This shift towards e-commerce has thrown up challenges for organisations of every size, regardless of whether they’re experienced with e-commerce solutions or not. We’ve been supporting our customers by making sure that their ERP systems are best set-up to facilitate this uptake in online activity.

Reduced support charges

We’re doing everything we can to make sure support is accessible to everyone. We’re working hard to reduce support charges for new customers who may already be part-way through their existing support contract elsewhere, with a reduced fee up until the expiry of any existing arrangement. By getting to know your ERP and all its individual distinctions, we can carry over your Dynamics enhancements and tailor a support rate reduction that means you won’t go unsupported, and you won’t be taken for a ride either. Our relationship with our customers is our priority. We take pride in being big enough to facilitate enterprise grade projects, and small enough that every customer gets the care and attention they deserve.
