The candidate
The successful candidate will have recent and extensive experience in technical consulting for cloud, hosted or on-premise Microsoft Dynamics Navision solutions within medium and large enterprises. You will be a self-starter, comfortable in challenging and complex customer situations.

Responsibilities

  • Providing technical consulting in complex and large scale projects on customer sites
  • Architecting solutions based on Microsoft Navision and Ocean Dynamics custom modules
  • Identifying and implementing customised solutions for specific customer requirements
  • Advising and guiding customers through the changes needed for implementing solutions
  • Liaising with other consultants, the Development Team and Sales Team at Ocean Dynamics
  • Participating in the production of high quality and compelling RFI/RFP responses
  • Delivering customer solutions on time and on budget
  • Collaborating with 3rd Party vendors where required
  • Presenting product demonstrations and workshops

 Essential Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years experience working in a reseller environment
  • Demonstrable track record of technical consulting in Dynamics Navision implementation projects
  • Experience with one or more of these ERP systems: SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics AX/Nav, Netsuite, JDE
  • First class presentation skills in CFO level audiences
  • Microsoft package skills - Visio, Project, Office Suite, SharePoint
  • Relevant Degree or Degree Level Academic Qualification

Desirable Requirements

  • PQA or Qualified
  • Specific sector experience in Hospitality, Retail, Manufacturing or Fuel & Convenience


The role will require national (and potentially some international) travel, with significant time spent away from home.

Customer services support analyst

Duties
As a Customer Services Support Consultant at Ocean Dynamics you will be working to resolve customer support incidents in line with Ocean Dynamics working procedures and Customer SLA agreements.
The main focus of this role will be to undertake in-depth investigation of incidents logged by email or phone from customers. Key Responsibilities include: to identify any product issues, provide the customer with operational insight into the use of the products, resolve and close incidents in line with statistical requirements and to keep to software version control.

Responsibilities

  • To undertake in-depth investigation of logged incidents and work with the appropriate internal teams or customer teams to resolve
  • To investigate central system/server issues on customer sites or hosting sites
  • To undertake work to resolve 3rd party incidents
  • Where an incident is identified as resolvable at software support level, to produce scripted documentation for the knowledge base
  • To work with financially sensitive customer data in line with working practices
  • To attend meetings on customer site as required
  • To provide on-site support to customers as required
  • To carry out ad-hoc tasks as required to criteria and timescales requested by line manager

Essential Requirements

  • Microsoft Dynamics Navision hands-on experience either in a support, consulting or poweruser capacity
  • Customer focused and can deliver customer service to required standards in a professional manner
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all work
  • Ability to deal with colleagues in a professional, friendly and helpful manner
  • Ability to empathise with customers and be diplomatic when communicating with them
